It's actually a cute little bug that was sitting next to me one morning. If ever you could have a pet bug, this would have been it. I believe he has since passed away.
I first went to Kosovo after the war in 1999, shooting a video for a relief organization. The experience impacted me, so much so that I went back 4 years later to shoot a documentary – then back again the next year, and now I'm returning for what I think will be the final installment of the elusive Kosovo Project.
